In the early years of this century, a specific series of pens played a crucial role in increasing the fame of Visconti - a series inspired by the masterpieces of Vincent van Gogh. Toward the end of 2009, it was decided to phase out this series, only to return in 2011 with a completely redesigned version.

The redesigned pens are a true ode to the impressionist master's work. Each color in the collection reflects a specific Van Gogh painting, with Visconti not only taking inspiration from the artist's complete oeuvre, but concentrating on individual masterpieces. As a result, the pens themselves have become small works of art, each named after the painting that served as inspiration and packaged in a gift box with an image of the work in question.

The unique colors of the resin used for these pens are the result of a carefully crafted chemical mix. This mix ensures that each pen has its own distinctive color scheme that can be directly traced back to the painting on which it is based. The first series in this striking collection is inspired by some of Van Gogh's most iconic works, including "The Starry Night," "Bedroom in Arles," "Self-Portrait in Blue" and "Sunflowers.
